Modernist art is a dynamic and multifaceted movement that emerged in the late 19th century and flourished throughout the 20th century, challenging traditional artistic conventions and embracing innovation, experimentation, and individual expression. The Impressionists are artists who changed the course of art history at the end of the 19th century. They burst into classical academicism like a bright storm, shocked the audience, and then made the audience fall in love with their art forever.
Impressionism is the momentary impressions of artists immortalized on canvas.

Now every art lover knows the names of great painters, but the conservative public at one time did not accept young artists at all. We will talk about how they shocked the public, what inspired them and how they wrote their masterpieces at the lecture “Impressionists – catchers of light and impressions.”

You will learn about how impressionism was born, what distinctive features this style has, as well as about the work and fate of the four greatest representatives of impressionism – Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir and Edgar Degas.
